I love finding stuff like this. Environmentalgraffiti.com has a wonderful article showing off the artistic talent of Sergei Larenkov, who visited the exact locations from some old photos of Leningrad, took new photos from the same angle and then married the two, resulting in some amazing images if not a little eerie.
